A match that will go down in history. Na Fianna created history on Sunday when they became just the second Dublin side to reach the All-Ireland Club hurling final. They edged out Loughrea in a thrilling semi-final at FBD Semple Stadium in Thurles.
The game was a tense and tight affair from start to finish. Loughrea led by four points at half-time but Na Fianna came back strongly in the second half and eventually won by a single point.
The winning point came from AJ Murphy in the 64th minute. It was a brilliant score from the young forward, who has been one of the stars of Na Fianna's run to the final. Na Fianna will now face Kilkenny's Ballyhale Shamrocks in the final on St Patrick's Day. It will be a huge day for the club and for Dublin hurling. Loughrea will be disappointed to have lost, but they can be proud of their performance. They gave everything on the day and were unlucky not to come away with the win.
The game was a credit to both teams and was a great advert for club hurling. It was a match that will live long in the memory of everyone who was there.
