Louie Hinchliffe is a British actor who has appeared in a number of films and television shows. He is best known for his role as Martin Fowler in the BBC soap opera EastEnders. Hinchliffe was born in London and raised in Dagenham. He began his acting career in the late 1990s, appearing in small roles in films such as Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998) and Snatch (2000). In 2003, he joined the cast of EastEnders as Martin Fowler. Hinchliffe played the role for 13 years, leaving the show in 2016.
Since leaving EastEnders, Hinchliffe has appeared in a number of other television shows, including the BBC drama The Syndicate and the ITV crime drama Marcella. He has also appeared in the films The Ballad of Billy Mckay (2015) and The Hatton Garden Job (2017).
In addition to his acting career, Hinchliffe is also a musician. He is the lead singer and guitarist of the band Nine Below Zero. The band released their debut album, Live at the 100 Club, in 2008.
Hinchliffe is a father of two children. He is married to actress Nicola Stephenson.
