Mahamadou Diarra Stegbauer: The Boy Who Could Talk to Stars
Once upon a time, in a faraway land, there lived a boy named Mahamadou Diarra Stegbauer. Mahamadou was a curious and adventurous child, but he was also very lonely. He had no friends, and his parents were always busy with work.
One night, while Mahamadou was gazing up at the stars, he saw a shooting star. He closed his eyes and made a wish: he wished for a friend. As soon as he opened his eyes, a bright light filled the sky. And then, standing right before him, was a beautiful star!
The star introduced herself as Celeste, and she told Mahamadou that she had come to be his friend. Mahamadou was so happy! He and Celeste quickly became the best of friends. They played together every day, and they shared all their secrets.
One day, Mahamadou and Celeste were playing in the forest when they came across a group of bullies. The bullies were picking on a smaller boy, and Mahamadou knew he had to do something.
“Stop!” Mahamadou shouted. “Leave him alone!”
The bullies turned around and saw Mahamadou and Celeste. They started to laugh.
“What’s a little boy like you going to do about it?” one of the bullies sneered.
“I’ll tell you what I’m going to do,” Mahamadou said. “I’m going to call my friend, the star.”
The bullies laughed again. But then, Celeste stepped forward and began to sing. As she sang, the stars in the sky began to twinkle and glow. The bullies were so amazed that they just stood there and listened.
When Celeste finished singing, the bullies were gone. Mahamadou and Celeste had scared them away!
Mahamadou was so grateful to Celeste. He knew that she was a true friend, and he would never be lonely again.
From that day on, Mahamadou and Celeste continued to be the best of friends. They had many more adventures together, and they always helped each other out. And Mahamadou always knew that, no matter what, he could count on his friend, the star.
