"Excuse me, dear lady," Makada said in a deep, gravelly voice. "I'm here to check your gas meter."
Doña Concha was bewildered. "But, sir, we had it checked last week."
Makada pressed on, "Well, perhaps it needs another look. I'm sure you don't want any gas leaks in your home."
Doña Concha, being the kind-hearted soul she was, hesitantly allowed Makada inside. Makada spent the next ten minutes poking and prodding at the gas meter, pretending to do an inspection.
All the while, Doña Concha couldn't help but notice something peculiar about her guest. Her "grandson" seemed to be a bit too flexible for his advanced age.
Finally, Makada couldn't contain her laughter any longer. She burst out into a fit of giggles, revealing her true identity.
Doña Concha was both amused and relieved. "Oh, Makada!" she exclaimed. "You're a naughty girl!"
Makada's escapade continued throughout the day. She disguised herself as a delivery boy, a mail carrier, and even as a neighborhood dog. Each disguise brought its own set of comical adventures.
At one point, Makada accidentally delivered a package to the wrong house. When the homeowner came out to confront her, she quickly hid in some bushes, only to emerge as a barking golden retriever.
