Marasia Boschman Was So Bored

Marasia Boschman was so bored. She had nothing to do. She had already watched all the TV shows she wanted to watch, and she had read all the books she wanted to read. She was starting to get really restless.

“I wish something would happen,” she said. “Anything would be better than this.”

Just then, the doorbell rang. Marasia Boschman ran to the door and opened it. There was a man standing there with a big smile on his face.

“Hi, Marasia Boschman,” he said. “I’m here to take you on an adventure.”

“An adventure?” Marasia Boschman asked. “What kind of adventure?”

“I can’t tell you that,” the man said. “It’s a secret.”

Marasia Boschman looked at the man for a moment. He seemed nice enough. And she was so bored. She decided to take a chance.

“Okay,” she said. “I’ll go with you.”

The man smiled and took Marasia Boschman’s hand. He led her to a car that was parked in the driveway. They got in the car and drove away.

Marasia Boschman didn’t know where they were going, but she didn’t care. She was just happy to be out of the house.

They drove for a long time. Finally, they came to a stop in front of a big, old house. The man got out of the car and opened the door for Marasia Boschman.

“This is it,” he said. “Welcome to my home.”

Marasia Boschman stepped out of the car and looked around. The house was beautiful. It was made of stone and had a big, wrap-around porch. There were flowers blooming everywhere.

“It’s lovely,” Marasia Boschman said.

“Thank you,” the man said. “Come on in.”

Marasia Boschman followed the man into the house. The inside of the house was just as beautiful as the outside. There were paintings on the walls and vases full of flowers. There was a big, comfortable couch in the living room.

“Make yourself at home,” the man said. “I’ll be right back.”

The man disappeared into the kitchen. Marasia Boschman sat down on the couch and looked around. She was starting to feel really comfortable.

A few minutes later, the man came back into the living room with a tray of food. There were sandwiches, cookies, and juice.

“I hope you’re hungry,” the man said. “I made you a snack.”

Marasia Boschman smiled and took a sandwich. It was delicious.

She and the man talked for a long time. They talked about their lives, their families, and their dreams. Marasia Boschman found out that the man’s name was John and that he was a writer.

As they talked, Marasia Boschman realized that she was really enjoying herself. She had forgotten all about being bored.

When it was time to go, Marasia Boschman was sad to leave. She had had such a wonderful time.

“Thank you for inviting me,” she said to John. “I had a really great time.”

“I’m glad you did,” John said. “I hope you’ll come back and visit me again sometime.”

Marasia Boschman smiled and said goodbye. As she walked to her car, she knew that she would never forget her adventure with John.
