Martxel Doudouh: The Man Who Got Lost in His Own House
Martxel Doudouh was a man of many talents, but navigation was not one of them. He could juggle three flaming torches while reciting Shakespeare, but he couldn't find his way out of a paper bag. So, when he moved into his new house, a sprawling mansion with more rooms than a palace, he was in for a wild ride.
The first time he got lost, he was looking for the bathroom. He wandered aimlessly through the labyrinthine hallways, each one looking eerily similar to the last. After an hour, he stumbled upon a room filled with dancing bunnies.
"Excuse me," he asked the bunnies. "Do you know where the bathroom is?"
The bunnies giggled and continued their dance. Martxel sighed and wandered on.
Hours turned into days, and Martxel became a legend in his own house. The servants would whisper tales of the lost master, who could be found in the most peculiar places. One day, he was discovered sleeping in the linen closet. Another day, he was found riding a rocking horse in the nursery.
Martxel's family grew increasingly worried. They hired a team of search and rescue dogs, but even they couldn't find him. It seemed like Martxel was destined to spend the rest of his life as a lost soul in his own home.
But then, one fateful day, Martxel had a brilliant idea. He decided to use his juggling skills to navigate. He juggled three flaming torches and followed the trail of smoke as it billowed through the house.
Finally, after three weeks of being lost, Martxel stumbled upon a door he had never seen before. He opened it and stepped out into the bright sunlight.
"I did it!" he cried. "I found my way out!"
From that day forward, Martxel became known as the "Juggling Navigator." He taught his family and friends how to use his method to find their way around the house. And though he never did learn how to read a map, he could now navigate his mansion with the ease of a seasoned sailor.
