Mary Jane Veloso: The Mother I Know

My name is Celia Veloso, and I am the mother of Mary Jane Veloso. Mary Jane was arrested in Indonesia in 2010 for drug trafficking, and she has been on death row ever since. I have been fighting for her life ever since, and I will never give up hope that she will be released.

Mary Jane is a kind and loving person. She is a devoted mother to her two sons, and she would do anything for her family. She is also a hard worker, and she has always been determined to provide a better life for herself and her children.

I know that Mary Jane is innocent of the crime she has been accused of. She was set up by a drug lord named Kristina Sergio, and she was unaware that she was carrying drugs in her suitcase.

I have been to Indonesia many times to visit Mary Jane, and I have seen how much she has suffered in prison. She has been tortured, and she has been denied basic medical care. But she has never given up hope, and she has always maintained her innocence.

I am grateful to all of the people who have supported Mary Jane's case. I am especially grateful to President Duterte, who has been a strong advocate for her release.

I believe that Mary Jane will be released one day. I believe that justice will prevail, and that my daughter will be able to come home to her family.

In the meantime, I will continue to fight for her release. I will never give up hope, and I will never stop fighting for my daughter.
