I've always been terrible at folding T-shirts. No matter how hard I try, they always end up looking like a crumpled mess. But not Adam Hyde. This local man has mastered the art of T-shirt folding, and he can do it in just 2 seconds.
Hyde says he developed his technique after years of frustration with traditional folding methods. "I was tired of my T-shirts looking like a wrinkled mess," he says. "So I started experimenting with different ways to fold them, and eventually I came up with this method."
Here's how Hyde does it:
1. Lay the T-shirt flat on a table or bed.
2. Fold the shirt in half lengthwise, bringing the shoulders together.
3. Fold the bottom edge up to meet the bottom of the neckline.
4. Fold the sleeves up to meet the bottom edge of the shirt.
5. Fold the shirt in half again, bringing the two sides together.
6. Tuck the bottom edge of the shirt into the top edge.
It sounds simple, but seeing it done in person is truly amazing. Hyde's hands move with lightning speed, and in just a few seconds, the T-shirt is perfectly folded.
"It's all about practice," says Hyde. "The more you do it, the faster you'll become."
I couldn't believe how easy it was to learn Hyde's method. After just a few tries, I was able to fold a T-shirt in under 10 seconds. It's a huge improvement over my previous time of several minutes.
If you're tired of your T-shirts looking like a crumpled mess, I highly recommend learning Hyde's method. It's simple, fast, and effective. And who knows, you might even impress your friends with your newfound T-shirt folding skills.
In addition to being a T-shirt folding expert, Hyde is also a pretty interesting guy. He's a former professional wrestler, and he's also worked as a stuntman in several movies. He's a great storyteller, and I could listen to him talk for hours.
I'm grateful to Hyde for sharing his T-shirt folding technique with me. It's made my life so much easier, and it's also given me a new appreciation for the art of T-shirt folding.
