Miata! Dervish! In The Land of the Rising Sun!

Miata Dervish, when most people think about Japan, they think about Tokyo and its bustling city life. But there's so much more to Japan than just its capital city.
Recently I had the pleasure of travelling to Japan and exploring some of its lesser-known destinations. One of my favorite places was the city of Matsumoto, which is located in the Nagano Prefecture. Matsumoto is home to a beautiful castle, the Matsumoto Castle and so much more.
I started my day in Matsumoto by visiting the castle. The castle is one of the most well-preserved castles in Japan and it's a great example of Japanese architecture. I took a guided tour of the castle and learned about its history and significance. After the tour, I wandered around the castle grounds and admired the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
After visiting the castle, I headed to the Matsumoto City Museum of Art. The museum has a collection of over 10,000 works of art, including paintings, sculptures, and crafts. I spent a few hours exploring the museum and I was really impressed by the quality of the artwork.
In the evening, I had dinner at a traditional Japanese restaurant. I ordered a set menu, which included sashimi, sushi, tempura, and miso soup. The food was delicious and it was a great way to experience Japanese cuisine.
The next day, I rented a bicycle at and cycled around the city. Matsumoto is a very bike-friendly city and there are many bike paths that make it easy to get around. I cycled to the Nawate Street and visited the Matsumoto Folkcraft Museum. The museum has a collection of over 10,000 pieces of Japanese folk art. I spent a few hours exploring the museum and I was really impressed by the variety and quality of the artwork.
After visiting the museum, I cycled to Daio Wasabi Farm and learned everything about wasabi. I had a great time exploring Matsumoto and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a place to visit in Japan.
