Miceala Hapitsky & The Day the Fish Jumped Out
Miceala Hapitsky was having a perfectly normal day until the fish jumped out of the water.
It was a Tuesday, and Miceala was sitting at her desk, working on a spreadsheet. She was so engrossed in her work that she didn't even notice when the fish jumped out of the water.
But then, there it was, flopping around on her desk. Miceala screamed and jumped out of her chair.
"What the heck is that?" she shouted.
Her coworker, Bob, came running over.
"It's a fish," he said.
"I can see that," Miceala said. "But what's it doing on my desk?"
"I don't know," Bob said. "But it's pretty cool."
Miceala wasn't so sure. She was terrified of fish.
"Get it away from me!" she shouted.
Bob tried to catch the fish, but it was too fast. It flopped around on Miceala's desk, knocking over her coffee cup and spilling coffee all over her paperwork.
"Oh no!" Miceala cried. "My paperwork!"
Bob tried to help Miceala clean up the mess, but the fish kept flopping around. Finally, Bob managed to catch the fish and put it back in the water.
"Thank goodness," Miceala said. "I thought I was going to have a heart attack."
"Me too," Bob said. "That was one crazy fish."
Miceala and Bob laughed about the incident for the rest of the day. They couldn't believe that a fish had jumped out of the water and landed on Miceala's desk.
It was the strangest thing that had ever happened to either of them.
The next day, Miceala went back to her desk and found a note. It said:
Dear Miceala,
I'm sorry I jumped out of the water and scared you. I didn't mean to cause any trouble. I just wanted to say hello.
Sincerely,
The Fish
Miceala smiled. She was still a little bit scared of fish, but she couldn't help but feel sorry for the fish. After all, it had just been trying to be friendly.
Miceala decided to keep the note on her desk. It was a reminder that even the strangest things can happen in life. And sometimes, the strangest things can be the most wonderful.
Epilogue
