Michael Finley

As I sat down to write this article about Michael Finley, I couldn't help but feel a sense of nostalgia wash over me. I remember watching him play for the Dallas Mavericks when I was a kid, and I was always amazed by his athleticism and scoring ability. He was one of the most exciting players to watch in the NBA, and he helped lead the Mavericks to their first NBA championship in 2011.

Finley was born in Maywood, Illinois, in 1973. He played college basketball at Wisconsin, where he was a two-time All-American. He was drafted by the Phoenix Suns with the 21st overall pick in the 1995 NBA draft.
