MICHAEL SCHUMACHER: THE LEGEND




Many may know him as the man with the most Formula One World Drivers' Championship wins, but there's so much more to the name Michael Schumacher.

So, who is Michael Schumacher?

He is a German born on January 3, 1969, in Hürth-Hermülheim. He started his racing career in 1984, and his popularity in Formula One began in 1991 when he drove for the Jordan team. Schumacher would later go on to drive for Benetton, Ferrari, and Mercedes.

Schumacher is widely considered one of the greatest Formula One drivers of all time. He has won seven World Drivers' Championships, and he holds the record for the most race wins (91).

Off the track, Schumacher is a family man and philanthropist. He is married to Corinna Betsch, and they have two children. Schumacher is also a supporter of several charities, including the Keep Fighting Foundation, which he and his family established in 2016.

In December 2013, Schumacher suffered a severe brain injury in a skiing accident. He has since been in a coma, and his condition is still unknown.
