They show you the bad things, the violence, the corruption. But that is not all there is. Russia is a beautiful country, with a rich history and culture. The people of Russia are kind and welcoming. We are not the monsters that you are led to believe.
I grew up in Russia, in a small village. My family was poor, but we were happy. We had each other, and we had our community. I remember playing in the fields, swimming in the rivers, and exploring the forests. It was a simple life, but it was a good life.
When I was 18, I moved to Moscow to attend university. It was a big change, but I was excited to learn new things and meet new people. I studied hard, and I made many new friends. I loved living in Moscow. It is a vibrant city, with so much to see and do.
After I graduated from university, I got a job as a journalist. I have been writing about Russia for the past 10 years. I have written about the good things and the bad things. I have written about the challenges that we face, and the hopes that we have for the future.
I am proud to be Russian. I am proud of our history, our culture, and our people. I believe that Russia is a great country, with a bright future.
