The Mountain Between Us was filmed in dangerous locations

Two of the best British actors, directed by Hani Abu-Assad (with nomination for foreign Oscar for "Omar") are starring in The Mountain Between Us, based on Charles Martin's eponymous novel. After various changes of the acting duos in the main roles – from Michael Fasbender with Margo Robbie, through Rosamund Pike with Charlie Hnam, the final creative team has stopped at one of the most commented and engaged actors at the moment – Idris Elba and Kate Winslet, which during the years have proven she do not hesitates to enter into any kinds of roles, very often challenging and provocative, rarely annoying or boring and under its professional level (remember her appearance in Divergent?).

The combination between Idris Elba and Kate Winslet sounds very interesting, especially if placed in an isolated environment where their characters have to survive. We have had a similar movie – Kate has done brilliantly in the icy waters of the Atlantic, leaving Jack to die of frost. She's good at this thing.

In The Mountain Between Us Elba is a surgeon, called for a special case, and Winslet – a photojournalist traveling to his wedding, both proving to be the only survivors of a charter plane crash in the midst of an icy wasteland in the Colorado Mountains.

Speculations began to be heard on the extreme conditions of the shoots, as people began to doubt whether or not they can watch The Mountain Between Us free online at any of the movie streaming sites like poetzerofilm.com.
