Mouse airplane meal
By Adejoke Adegbite
When I boarded the plane, I was excited about the adventure that lay ahead. I had never been on a plane before, and I couldn't wait to see what it was like. I found my seat and settled in, eager for the journey to begin.
As the plane took off, I looked out the window and watched the world below me get smaller and smaller. It was an amazing feeling, and I was filled with a sense of wonder and excitement.
After a while, the flight attendant came around with the meal service. I ordered the chicken and rice, and when it arrived, I was surprised to see that it came with a side of mouse.
I stared at the mouse in disbelief. I had never seen a mouse on an airplane before. I didn't know what to do. I didn't want to eat it, but I didn't want to make a scene either.
I looked around to see if anyone else had noticed the mouse, but no one seemed to have. I decided to just ignore it and eat my meal.
The chicken and rice was delicious, but I couldn't help but think about the mouse. I wondered where it had come from, and how it had gotten into my meal. I also wondered what would happen if I ate it.
I finished my meal and the flight attendant came by to clear the tray. I hesitated for a moment, but then I handed her the tray with the mouse still on it.
She looked at the mouse and then at me. "Is there something wrong with your meal?" she asked.
"No," I said. "It's just that there's a mouse in it."
The flight attendant's eyes widened. "A mouse?" she asked.
"Yes," I said. "It was in my meal."
The flight attendant took the tray and walked away. A few minutes later, she came back with the captain of the plane.
The captain apologized for the incident and said that he would have the mouse removed. He also said that I could get a full refund for my meal.
I thanked the captain and he left. A few minutes later, the flight attendant came back and removed the mouse from my tray.
I was relieved that the mouse was gone, but I couldn't help but feel a little bit disappointed. I had been looking forward to trying airplane food, but now I was afraid to eat anything else.
The rest of the flight was uneventful, and I arrived at my destination safely. I was glad to be on solid ground, and I vowed never to order the chicken and rice again.
