Directed by Eddie Mensore and featuring Alex Roe and Sosie Bacon, "Hazard" follows Will (Roe), a man caught up in dealing drugs in a struggling town. He dreams of breaking free from the addiction-fueled environment of Hazard, urging his partner, Sara (Bacon), to join him. Their story is a profound look at love, addiction, and resilience amid life’s challenges.

"More than entertainment, "Hazard" encourages awareness and compassion toward the devastating effects of opioid addiction," says Mensore. The film release collaborates with local organizations to bring focus to recovery, resilience, and the importance of empathy in addressing addiction, fostering support for those affected by the crisis.

After its October 18 debut at the Woodstock Film Festival, "Hazard" has been lauded for its moving portrayal of addiction’s impact. The ensemble cast, including Alex Roe, Sosie Bacon, Steven Ogg, and Dave Davis, brings this powerful story to life, making it a must-watch for audiences drawn to films with a social impact.
