MWI Consultants has had many years of experience conducting evaluations for commercial/industrial/residential air quality concerns and other environment-related issues, utilizing pragmatic, cost-effective answers to enhance indoor environments and, ultimately, to provide healthful and comfortable conditions for people to work and live in. MWI Consultants covers many areas of specialization which we give a good review below:

1. Overall Indoor Air quality

The quality of indoor air is of utmost importance, obviously, whether at home or in the workplace. Because of crowding, use of synthetic materials, inefficient building designs and other issues, air quality has decreased to a level that becomes harmful to health and efficient occupational requirements.

Contamination of the indoor air can be directly affected by the use of office equipment (such as computers, printers, air-conditioners, etc.), insufficient supply of clean air and poorly-maintained heating and ventilation systems.

Homes can also contain certain substances that pose health hazard, such as, dust and animal dander, mold growth, chemical vapors and volatile organic compounds (VOC). Carbon dioxide may also accumulate in garages and poorly-ventilated furnaces or water heaters.

An overall investigation will be conducted by MWI Consultants of the above issues, including others, for instance, moisture damage and presence of asbestos materials. Based on the requirements, the assessment will focus on providing immediate solutions to achieve a healthful environment for all occupants.

2. Moisture Inspection

The presence of water moisture or damp conditions can affect indoor air quality and can also lead to mold growth and, as a result, promote the proliferation of dust mites, bacteria and bacterial endotoxins. The process of inspection uses non-destructive gadgets to determine the presence of moisture in walls and other places.

3. Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs)

VOCs can be harmful sources of diseases as these chemicals are airborne and can be inhaled by occupants or absorbed by materials that come in contact with humans or animals. Fast checks can be conducted using portables devices to determine the type of chemicals that are present and what necessary solutions can be applied.

4. Airborne Mold Sampling

MWI can also conduct sampling of indoor air to detect the presence of mold growth which can adversely affect health in various ways: skin allergies, asthma attacks, bacterial infection, etc. Proper remedies will be applied to reduce or eliminate this undesirable condition.

5. Dust and Particulates

Measuring the levels of dust and particulates in the air, particularly in the workplace, can determine how effective the air-handling and filtration system of a building. These aerosol materials can be so tiny not to be seen or felt although they can be hazardous as they can cause respiratory diseases. MWI Consultants utilizes a laser particle counter to measure these undesirable airborne pollutants in the home or in the offices. Tolerable levels are maintained to provide healthful indoor conditions.

Other factors that affect the quality of indoor air can be addressed by professionals form MWI consultants to assure their clients that they get the best kind of service they require and no complaints against poor air quality will then be heard.
