Celtic have secured the signing of Polish defender Maik Nawrocki from Legia Warsaw on a five-year deal.
The 22-year-old centre-back has been capped by Poland at youth level and has made over 50 appearances for Legia Warsaw.
Nawrocki is a physical and aggressive defender who is good in the air and comfortable on the ball.
He is expected to provide cover for Christopher Jullien and Shane Duffy in the Celtic defence.
Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou said: "Maik is a young player with a lot of potential. He is a good defender who is strong in the air and comfortable on the ball.
"He is also a good character and I am sure he will be a valuable addition to our squad."
Nawrocki said: "I am very happy to join Celtic. This is a big club with a great history and I am looking forward to playing in front of the fans.
"I want to help the team win trophies and I believe that I can develop as a player here."
Nawrocki is Celtic's second signing of the summer following the arrival of goalkeeper Joe Hart.
