Divine Savior volleyball 

The Divine Savior young ladies' volleyball crew won the Westminster Christian Volleyball Tournament. 

The occasion highlighted 16 groups, including Divine Savior, Mater Academy and host Westminster Christian, three top groups in the state. 

The two-day competition booked pool play on the very first moment and end of the season games on day two. 

Divine Savior (20-4) went 5-0 in transit to the title. 

"That was an extraordinary few days of volleyball for our group. We played three strong groups on [day one] and had a decent outlook on coming to the gold section on [day two]," Divine Savior mentor Matt Willems said. "Overcoming Mater Academy and Westminster Christian in consecutive matches was a gigantic achievement. There are likely just a modest bunch of groups in the express that would have the option to pull that off.
