Vasilevskiy, Tampa Bay's first-round pick (No. 19) in the 2012 draft, is 200-86-22 since making his introduction on Dec. 16, 2014. He was seldom tried in his 28th shutout and second in two games subsequent to blanking the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday.

"Enormous accomplishment. I'm pleased with it," Vasilevskiy said. "Clearly, I need to thank my partners for that since I can't win all alone. It's extraordinary cooperation."

Philipp Grubauer made 23 puts something aside for Seattle, which is 1-7-1 out and about in its first NHL season and 0-6-1 in its beyond seven games from Climate Pledge Arena.

"We were a half advance behind this evening," Seattle mentor Dave Hakstol said. "We didn't make sufficient tension in the hostile zone. We should have been exceptional winning pucks in the two zones. They guarded well. They skated well. They pushed us to the outside."

Bellemare, who was a partner of Grubauer last season with the Colorado Avalanche, put Tampa Bay ahead at 2:52 of the main time frame. He made a wrist effort from the left faceoff speck that went past Grubauer's glove for his first objective of the period.

"We are apparently surrendering the primary objective a ton," forward Jaden Schwartz said. "We really want better beginnings. We end up pursuing (the game) to an extreme."

Colton made it 2-0 by getting the carom of an obstructed shot and beating Grubauer 31 seconds into the second time frame for his second of the period.

"That is the manner by which we're winning," Lightning mentor Jon Cooper said of the reasonable assault that has made up for wounds to top advances Nikita Kucherov and Brayden Point.

"So we're playing D, attempting to hold things to the outside, and assuming that things separate, the goalie's there and everyone's contributing. Furthermore, particularly with a portion of the folks we have out, it's truly necessary. It's been a truly strong collaboration."

Stamkos gave Tampa Bay a 3-0 lead at 11:32 of the third time frame when he one-planned a pass from Ondrej Palat past Grubauer from the left circle. It was his group driving eleventh objective.

Seattle's Yanni Gourde, who focused the Lightning's third line in their Stanley Cup title runs in 2020 and 2021 preceding being chosen via Seattle in the extension draft, gotten a warm greeting from the sellout swarm at Amalie Arena and a video accolade during a stoppage in play halfway through the primary time frame.

He accepted his Stanley Cup ring from his old group after the morning skate.

"I trust they didn't have the camera on me on the grounds that my eyes were somewhat watery," Cooper said of the video accolade. "It showed what a fan most loved he was. He merited it."
