The following are six chosen people for the Capital Region High School Sports Awards young ladies swimming and jumping competitor of the year, recorded in sequential request.

Emma Best
Emma Best, Rochester
The rookie won the 200-yard free-form at the Edwardsville Sectional and proceeded to contend at her first Illinois High School Association state swimming and jumping meet. She completed 28th in the state fundamentals in a short time, 0.37 seconds. Best was second in the 500 free-form at the sectional.
Kaleigh Bobb, Chatham Glenwood
Bobb, a sophomore, won the 200 free-form at the Central State Eight Conference meet in 2:05.78. She was third in the 500 free-form at a similar meet. Bobb began the 400 free-form transfer that completed first at the Edwardsville Sectional to progress to state. Independently at sectional, she took fifth in the 500 free and eleventh in the 50 free.
Abigail Bouravnev
Abigail Bouravnev, Lutheran
The senior shut her profession with a sectional title in the 1-meter plunging occasion, scoring 376.32 focuses in Edwardsville. Bouravnev completed in 46th spot at state with a score of 148.05. She won the Capital City Classic meet.

Izzy Canny, Sacred Heart-Griffin
