LAUSANNE, Switzerland - The exile group for the Tokyo Olympics has 29 competitors contending in 12 games, including a medalist at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Games who left Iran refering to institutional sexism. 

The group chose by the International Olympic Committee on Tuesday was drawn from 55 competitors who escaped their nations of origin and got grants to prepare for the games in another nation of origin. 

Kimia Alizadeh is among them five years after she turned into the principal Iranian ladies to win an Olympic award. She took bronze in taekwondo at age 18. 

Alizadeh is situated in Germany after she deserted from Iran and scrutinized wearing the compulsory hijab headscarf.
