Previous Green Beret Running For Congress Gives Biden An 'F' In Middle East Policy 

Resigned Green Beret Joe Kent needs to bring his experience battling America's foes on the ground in the Middle East to Congress. 

Kent is one of a few Republicans primarying Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Wash., after she casted a ballot to denounce previous President Trump in 2020. Kent is a Gold Star spouse — his significant other, Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer Shannon Kent, was murdered in real life battling ISIS in Syria on Jan. 16, 2019. 

"I had chosen to get more open and in the political circle, not really campaigning for office," Kent said. "My better half was killed a month after Trump attempted to get our soldiers out of Syria the first run through."  

"My sights were on 'the mass,'" he said. "I began standing up on the side of what President Trump was doing in the conflict on dread." 

Kent said he would give Biden an "F" on Middle East arrangement. 

 

"Sullivan, Blinken, John Kerry … he acquired every one of these folks who truly marked their professions on the Iran bargain, the JCPOA," Kent said, alluding to public safety consultant Jake Sullivan, Secretary of State Antony Blinken and environment agent John Kerry. "By and large, I think we keep on doing some unacceptable things since individuals would prefer not to concede they're off-base … the card shark's error." 

"That is basically our public safety foundation's procedure."

Kent battled in the Iraq War, then, at that point conveyed to Yemen, then, at that point got back to Iraq to counter ISIS. He said he's not hopeful Biden will completely pull out from Syria as the president declared in April.

He refers to the vanishing of ventures like lumber and fishing, political decision security and "draconian" Covid lockdown measures as concerns confronting citizens in Washington's third Congressional District. Whenever chose, he said he'd support a full migration ban and push Congress to investigate what occurred in the 2020 political race. 

Indeed, even before Herrera Beutler and nine other House Republicans isolated themselves from the GOP over indictment, she was viewed as a moderate Republican in a blue state. Kent disclosed to Fox News he's not stressed that he'll be too traditionalist to even think about contending in an overall political decision. 

"There's a truly cool, free, egalitarian development around here. I will do all that I can to connect with various groups," he said. "I'm not a lifelong lawmaker. My adversary is a lifelong legislator. She and I are a similar age. … She's been in Congress for a very long time. 

"As far as I might be concerned, it was taking a gander at the real circumstance, realizing I have a guarantee to my children. I Googled 'how would you run for Congress' and headed out to the races from that point."

Kent is providing $200,000 of his own cash to support his mission, he said. He said he trusts more individuals like him choose to engage in governmental issues at all levels. 

"I would energize anyone who is worried about the course this nation is taking to get off there," he said. "Run for something, begin supporting competitors they have confidence in, appearing at gatherings, getting their companions enlisted to cast a ballot. I had never thought to be running for Congress. I feel like on the off chance that I don't go do this, I will think twice about it."
