Loving Memories Of Dad And Sports 

I don't remember Dad truly being an authority mentor, however he was around sports so a lot, likely the aftereffect of having six children.

I began pondering so many of those occasions after Dad passed on early Monday morning. 

I never thought a lot about Dad's own athletic accomplishments, yet from stories I have heard, he might have been a lovely talented track competitor experiencing childhood in New York. 

From my own insight, he was a respectable softball player — we used to play as a family at picnics and he played catch with us when we were first playing baseball. 

I was somewhat youthful to unmistakably recollect when Dad was an umpire for Little League games in Phoenix back when we actually lived in Talent and my more established siblings were in groups, yet I know he and Mom observed we all making a move while we were growing up. They watched my sibling Andy a bundle, since he went furthest in the game. I don't have the foggiest idea the number of burgers Dad ate from the Clyde Allen Field snack bar during American Legion games, however I'm certain it was a quite large number. 

Andy had the advantage of being the most youthful in the family, so after I graduated, Mom and Dad went to large numbers of his challenges, home and away.
