What COVID-19 could mean for another period of secondary school football.
While many are praising the arrival of secondary school football Friday, there are a few groups that didn't come to the field.
The players at Waite and St. John's Jesuit needed to pass on their first seven day stretch of the period after a Waite player tried positive for COVID-19.
There was no group commotion at St. John's Jesuit and the stands stayed void Friday night. It should be the opener for the Titans, facilitating the Waite High School Indians.
Subsequent to getting direction from the Lucas County Health Department in regards to the positive case, the game was dropped.

"Coronavirus will be toward the rear of our brains for years to come," Ohio High School Athletic Association official Tim Stride said.
He said there were seven games dropped for this present week because of COVID-19 and one game has effectively been dropped for straightaway.
"We're actually managing the infection on different levels and, obviously, not all understudy competitors are immunized, so that unquestionably will affect the isolate," Stried said.
The entirety of the state COVID-19 security conventions managing restricted participation and social separating for players are gone for the current year. Stride said it's dependent upon each locale to choose what's ideal to keep its children in school and on the field.
"There are some school regions that are requiring veils at games, unquestionably a school area can do that," he said.
Toward the start of the pandemic, spring sports were dropped altogether. Stride says that actually waits toward the rear of individuals' brains as a chance.
While antibodies aren't needed, Stride said they are suggested.

Stride said groups can make up those games in the event that they make the time in their timetables, yet noticed that it's troublesome with football as they just play one time each week.
