The Sarnia Brigade went 0-2 at the Baseball Ontario senior AAA title toward the end of the week in Tecumseh.

Swim Babula had two hits and Alex McLean had a RBI in a 4-1 misfortune to the Tecumseh Thunder in Friday's opener.
The Brigade left the twofold knockout competition with a 4-3 misfortune to the Windsor Athletics on Saturday.

Previous Sarnia Sting forward Adam Ruzicka will play for Slovakia at an Olympic passing competition beginning Thursday in Bratislava, Slovakia.
Belarus, Austria and Poland are additionally entered in the four-group competition.

Chinmay Damani of Sarnia crushed Tej Patel 8-4 in the under-14 young men's last of an Ontario Tennis Association (OTA) West Region competition Saturday at the Sarnia Tennis Club.
Ava Harrison of Windsor put first in the under-14 young ladies' division and Astrid McCormick was second.
Cole Dunlop beat Nash Bernard 8-6 in the under-10 last.
26 players took part.

Dave Moffit and Brock Bartley went undefeated to win the RBC-Kooy Wealth Management copies competition at the Sarnia Lawn Bowling Club on Aug. 18.
