WINTER HAVEN, Fla. — From the breeze in your hair to the sprinkle at your feet, there is only something about water skiing and Florida that have consistently gone together. This is particularly valid for a group in Winter Haven that has been engaging crowds for quite a long time.

From the pyramid to one ski, to even shoeless, the Cypress Gardens Water Ski Team plays out every one of the pranks on Lake Silver. A show that began at the old Cypress Gardens amusement park in 1943 progresses forward in Winter Haven on the third Saturday of consistently.

"A great deal of our group used to go to Cypress Gardens and they had those passes," said Mark Voisard.

Voisard has been in the group since 1977. He adores passing down his insight for the game to the future.

"Yet, it wasn't appallingly difficult to gain proficiency with the essentials," said 12-year-old Gabriel Maddox.

A ton of groups consider themselves a family, yet now and again it's valid — there's even a standard that comprises of all fathers and little girls.
