How Rock Bridge's Ella Swindle Became One Of The Best Volleyball Players In America

Stowell was struck by how Swindle would make the two-hour trip from Columbia to Kansas City to prepare with KC Power. 

"It required half a month possibly to see that she had the assurance, and the work combined with the hard working attitude," Stowell said. "There was no question she would have been great." 

That drive was every one of the Missouri Tigers expected to see. Missouri volleyball offered Swindle her first grant as an eighth-grader, a chance to play in Columbia and be an old neighborhood saint. 

"I was only a wreck," Swindle said of her Missouri offer. "I was in tears. I resembled, 'I just can barely handle it.'" 

Moving into the secondary school positions, Swindle turned into a prevailing player. 

She assisted Rock With crossing over to a region title as a sophomore and has advanced into the first class setter she set off to be as a seventh-grader. Bruins mentor Trevor Koelling assumed control over the program in May and quickly saw what made Swindle exceptional.
