ASU Volleyball Falls To No. 17 Stanford For Fourth Consecutive Loss 

No. 17 Stanford volleyball won 3-1 at home Friday night over Arizona State. 

The Cardinal took the match 25-17, 21-25, 25-23, 25-20, improving to 7-4, 2-1 Pac-12. 

ASU dropped to 7-7, 0-3 in front of Sunday match at California (7-7, 0-3). The Bears lost 3-1 Friday to Arizona. The Sun Devils have lost four in succession. 안전놀이터

Iman Isanovic had 14 kills and Marta Levinska 12 for ASU, which hit .196 in general. 

Stanford's Caitie Baird had 22 kills on .419 hitting, Kendall Kipp 16/.371 and Holly Campbell 10/.714. The Cardinal hit .352 in general and had a 13-9 edge in complete squares. 

No. 13 Oregon volleyball sends ASU to another five-set misfortune 

Arizona State volleyball lost another five-set match Sunday, falling 3-2 to No. 13 Oregon at Desert Financial Arena. 

The Ducks went up 25-19, 25-14 preceding losing a couple of 25-23 sets. They took the fifth set 15-7, improving to 11-1, 2-0 Pac-12. 

ASU (7-6, 0-2) will be 2-5 of every five-set matches, likewise falling 3-2 to Arizona on Thursday.

ASU is at Stanford (6-4, 1-1) on Friday and California on Oct. 3. 

Arizona volleyball wins 3-2 over ASU to begin Territorial Cup Series 

Arizona volleyball edged Arizona State in five sets Thursday night in the Pac-12 opener for the two groups. 

UA won 23-25, 25-16, 25-17, 21-25, 15-9 at Desert Financial Center, acquiring the primary half point in the 2021-22 Territorial Cup Series. 

The Wildcats hit .237 to ASU's .110 and had a 30-13 edge in absolute squares. 

Iman Isanovic had 13 kills for ASU and Claire Jeter 12 on .348 hitting. Jaelyn Hodge drove UA with 15 kills and 17 burrows. 

"We played extreme and we never surrendered anytime, yet our offense couldn't get it rolling," ASU mentor Sanja Tomasevic said. "Despite the fact that our serve get wasn't not so great, we just couldn't hit well. In this way, it's an extreme night when we have our two best players (Isanovic and Marta Levinska) hit low numbers. We need more from them to dominate matches. 

"They began hitting out of the back court, which they hadn't accomplished for a large part of the match. They did it every so often however not as much as in the fifth set. Thus, they made a change and we realized it would come, however we need to make a superior change. We felt like we just let completely go. Not to detract from UA, I think they have great youthful skilled players, yet I think we lost the match." 

UA improved to 8-3 in general with ASU dropping to 7-5. 

The Sun Devils are at home against No. 13 Oregon (10-1, 1-0) around early afternoon Sunday. 

ASU volleyball falls 3-2 to UNLV in last non-gathering match
