The virtual entryway into the Section 5 Wrestling Hall of Fame is open once more.

A gathering of five, including three fruitful mentors, are going into the lobby of distinction October 12, during a meal at Red Fedele's Brook House in Greece.

Previous grapplers Tom Mandara and Nick Clark are in this lobby of acclaim's first acceptance class starting around 2019. Last year's service was dropped because of the worry of spreading COVID-19.

Tickets are just about sold out.

Scratch Clark (Canisteo-Greenwood): Clark, who turned into a New York State Trooper and was killed while on the job in 2017, was a secondary school state champion in 2006 as an undefeated senior and won three sectional class titles.

Leo Fusilli (East High): A three-time Rochester Interscholastic League champion during his days on the mat, 1962-64. Trained two sectionals champions during his vocation at Bishop Kearney and Edison.

John Grillo (Holley): His 720 successes in 44 seasons as a mentor might in any case be the most in state history. State and Section V heroes are among his wrestling understudies.
