Female Caddies Thrive At Inverness Club

"The public normal is two percent and we are at 18% for females caddies and that is something we are pleased with," said Patrick Wills, the Caddie Program Manager at Inverness. "Inverness Club has been a 'mobile club' since its initiation in 1903." 

The club utilizes around 250 caddies, coming from secondary schools and universities across the space. The beginning age for caddies is 14. 

"My grandpa was really a caddie over here so to return home and disclose to him every one of the occasions I assisted, he would reveal to me stories. It's anything but a pleasant time and something we can discuss," said Paige Zolciak, an Eastern Michigan University understudy with the Inverness caddie program. 

Between mentorship, grant openings, and now the Solheim Cup, being an Inverness caddie has a colossal rise.  "To see the best ladies in the game and to be on the fairway they work on consistently - it will be extraordinary," Wills said.
