Canada Beats US Women 1-0 In Olympic Soccer Semifinals

Jessie Feming scored on an extra shot in the 74th moment and Canada took the United States out of gold award dispute in the Olympic ladies' soccer rivalry with a 1-0 elimination round triumph. 

Canada will confront the victor of the late elimination round in Yokohama among Sweden and Australia. The gold decoration match is set for Friday at the Olympic Stadium in Tokyo. 

It was the second time the United States has been taken out of decoration dispute at the Olympics. At the 2016 Games, it was crushed by Sweden in the quarterfinals. 

Canada had not won against the United States since 2001. 

The U.S. Had a uniquely lopsided competition, beginning with a 3-0 misfortune to Sweden that snapped a 44-game unbeaten streak, and a scoreless draw with Australia in the gathering stage.
