Las Vegas Raiders guarded end Carl Nassib on Monday turned into the primary dynamic NFL player to come out as gay.
Nassib, who is entering his 6th NFL season and second with the Raiders, declared the news on Instagram, saying he wasn't doing it for the consideration but since he felt portrayal and perceivability were significant.
"I simply needed to take a fast second to say that I'm gay," Nassib said in his video message from his home in West Chester, Pennsylvania. "I've been importance to do this for some time now, yet I at last feel adequately good to get it out into the open.
"I truly have the best life. I got the best family, companions and occupation a person can request. I'm a lovely private individual, so I trust you folks realize that I'm truly not doing this for consideration.
