Sports Clinic For Disabled Veterans Coming To West Palm Beach

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — The West Palm Beach VA Medical Center is uniting with a non-benefit bunch situated in North Carolina, to bring a remarkable recovery program to Palm Beach County. 

Its called Military Adaptive Court Sports (MACS) and it's main goal is to give treatment and treatment to neighborhood crippled veterans and injured champions through sports. 

The gathering is supported by the Department of Veteran Affairs and is known to go all through the nation showing veterans how to play racquetball and pickle ball. 

The gathering will have a two-day small camp today and Saturday in West Palm Beach at Lake Lytel Park from 9:30 a.M. To early afternoon. 

Coordinators say this is a chance forlocal saints to come out, have a good time and become familiar with the nuts and bolts of the games. 

The recovery program has been demonstrated to construct confidence, increment strength preparing and imporve adapting abilities. 

"The manner in which we train the course is we instruct them from the essential level, similar to they never played it, said Lt. Administrator Steven Harper, Executive Director for Military Adaptive Court Sports. "Also, we will show them various methodologies, procedures, essentials, ranges of abilities that they can learn and apply rapidly to where they can appreciate a decent game."
