2021 Texas Panhandle Sports Hall Of Fame Inductees 

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Five new names are being added to the 63rd Annual Texas Panhandle Sports Hall of Fame. 메이저사이트

Individuals assembled to accept their enlistment coat and be perceived in an abbreviated form before the huge day. They recounted accounts of their athletic days, and some even observed each other play and contend with one another. A day of grins and surprisingly a few tears. The 189th inductee, Rayford Young teared up discussing the heritage his child, Trae Young is leaving on top of his, and how this enlistment affects his family name. 

"To address the Young name, and all that the name has accomplished for the, I say the city of Pampa, the town of Pampa. It certainly didn't begin with me." Young said. "For me it's simply having that name on the rear of the pullover and simply propelling that heritage." 

A Pampa and Texas Tech stuffed acceptance bunch, including Sharon Moultrie-Bruner. As an olympic style sports star for the Red Raiders she says she had a remarkable shoes to fill after her kin, and expectations her heritage lives on in her competitors. 

"Every last one of my kin accomplished something in Pampa. Since I am the most youthful, when I got to secondary school, I needed to proceed with the practice." Moultire-Bruner said. "The heritage is, you absolutely never surrender. Never surrender at anything. Do everything you can manage and God will take you anyplace, on the off chance that you buckle down." 

For the 191st inductee, the late Noel Johnson. Who was a piece of the public title group of the Texas Tech Lady Raider ball group. Leaving an inheritance in the wake of losing her fight to malignant growth simply last year. Her trouble, Nick Johnson accepted her coat to pay tribute to her, and says she would be respected to be a piece of this enlistment class. 

"I figure she would be extremely lowered and pleased, similar to I said in front of an audience, that this class is simply ideal for her. Two Red Raiders going in and mentor Lombard." Said Johnson. "She would be extremely lowered and exceptionally regarded, and I imagine that is the thing that she would say." 'Do you miss her?' "Yeah...Yeah." 

Joe Lombard finishes up the inductees for the 192nd spot. The country's best secondary school young ladies ball mentor in history who won 19 state titles with 1,379 successes in 42 seasons. 

"An immense honor. Living in the Panhandle, individuals that are here. To be respected with a particularly tip top organization." Lombard said. "Obviously, the networks of Nazareth and Canyon. It doesn't beat that to the extent extraordinary ball networks." 

One that couldn't go to was Steve Garmon of Groom, TX. He played the two sides of the ball as a lineman in secondary school and got his opportunity at school ball in Fort Worth. He wound up as a double cross All-Southwest Conference lineman for TCU. Most as of late filled in as the number two person in the mysterious help and served under 6 presidents. What an extraordinary gathering of inductees, and the authority service will happen Sunday, June thirteenth at 2 PM.
