New Delhi [India], June 24 (ANI): Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that the all-party meeting with the heads of Jammu and Kashmir led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi was led in a "welcoming" climate and declared that the delimitation practice and serene races are significant achievements in reestablishing statehood of Jammu and Kashmir as guaranteed in Parliament.
"The present gathering on Jammu and Kashmir was directed in a warm climate. Everybody communicated their obligation to vote based system and the Constitution. It was pushed to reinforce the majority rule measure in Jammu and Kashmir," Shah tweeted.
"We are focused on guaranteeing all-round advancement of J-K. The fate of Jammu and Kashmir was talked about and the delimitation practice and serene decisions are significant achievements in reestablishing statehood as guaranteed in parliament," he said in another tweet.
The high-profile all-party meeting called by Prime Minister Narendra Modi with political pioneers from Jammu and Kashmir closed at Prime Minister's true home in New Delhi on Thursday evening.
The gathering started at around 3 pm and was gone to by 14 noticeable pioneers from the Union Territory.
This was the primary significant level cooperation between the Center and political administration predominantly from Kashmir since August 5, 2019, when the Center disavowed the unique status of Jammu and Kashmir and the state was bifurcated into two association regions.
Among the pioneers who are taken part in the gathering were Congress' Ghulam Nabi Azad, Tara Chand and GA Mir; National Conference's Dr Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah; PDP's Mehbooba Mufti, J-K Apni Party's Altaf Bukhari; BJP's Ravinder Raina, Nirmal Singh, and Kavinder Gupta; CPI(M's) M Y Tarigami; National Panthers Party's Prof Bheem Singh; and Peoples Conference's Sajad Gani Lone.
Home Minister Amit Shah, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor Manoj Sinha and Home Secretary additionally went to the gathering. (ANI)
