During his time training middle school softball, Stan Pepper perceived Beulah's forthcoming players got an opportunity to be exceptional. Pepper fortunately climbed to the secondary school level with a portion of those players three years prior, which prompted a 2021 season not many around the school will ever neglect.
Pepper and the Lady Bobcats set up an extraordinary go through the season, which finished in an excursion to the state competition and a shot at the title. Beulah made it right to the last day of the Class 3A state competition, and keeping in mind that the group came up barely shy of a title it's anything but a beneficial run.
On account of Beulah's prosperity this season and on softball's huge stage, Pepper has been named the Opelika-Auburn News' Softball Coach of the Year.
"As a matter of first importance, I need to thank the Good Lord for permitting us to get past the season," Pepper said. "Anyone could mentor these young ladies and go the extent that we did on the grounds that they're such acceptable competitors. They're incredible female competitors that I have start to finish. I've said it the entire year: I thought we were the best group in the state, I actually accept we are, particularly coming up the following year.
"I was energized for the young ladies to get where we got, and yet we expected to be there. Individuals take a gander at me amusing when I say that, yet we really hope to be there and to be there for the years to come."
