Whenever Colin Cowherd expresses his real thoughts, it generally stands out enough to be noticed. More often than not, most of avid supporters simply kind of feign exacerbation and can't help thinking about what the heck the FS1 have is smoking. Different occasions, the candid games character says something that is really valuable as well as evident. Notwithstanding what he says, there's no uncertainty Cowherd realizes how to hit a nerve with a crowd of people.

Given the staggering run the Atlanta Hawks have been on this NBA Playoffs, everyone is by all accounts discussing how unbelievable Trae Young has been; and Cowherd's the same. Subsequent to driving the Hawks to a steamed dominate in Match 1 out and about against the Bucks in the Eastern Conference Finals, Young — the No. 5 in general pick in the 2018 NBA Draft — is showing why he's a whiz at this moment, not a few years.

Who can say for sure how this postseason run closes for Young and the Hawks, yet there's one thing without a doubt: It's Trae's chance to make history, and we're all seeing significance.

Truth be told, a few group — like Colin Cowherd — are so sold on Young that the point watch is being respected. Indeed, the FS1 character even went the extent that expression that the Hawks' star is preferred and more dependable over Kyrie Irving of the Brooklyn Nets. This is what the games character needed to say.

"I think he [Trae Young] is the No. 1 point watch in the East since I believe he's preferred and more reliable over Kyrie Irving, I do."

What?!?

It's a stunning assertion on a superficial level, yet get past the name and the features and the consideration Irving frequently will zero in on a certain something: Leadership and results. Trae Young is totally better compared to Irving.

Try not to come at me with the way that Irving has a title. With all due regard, he acquired the title close by LeBron James in 2016 — which was probably the best second in my life — yet when he requested an exchange out of Cleveland to be "The Man," Kyrie hasn't done a lot. He's really been relapsing.

Despite what is generally expected, Trae Young is playing in his first NBA Playoffs and totally sparkling. He accepted the group and energy in MSG against the Knicks in the first round. He upset the No. 1-cultivated Sixers in the second round. He just took Game 1 against the supported Bucks. What's more, he's doing it by giving us all noteworthy postseason minutes.

Irving is an All-Star, yet he's not a whiz. Not when he's playing close by Kevin Durant and James Harden. Not when he needed to escape James' shadow in Cleveland just to… be in the shadow of both Durant and Harden.

Trae Young is extraordinary, and he invites (and feeds off of) the analysis. He's his group's best player. He drives his partners to be better. He doesn't freely condemn them; as Irving did while in Boston.

While Colin Cowherd regularly heaves total jabber more often than not, this isn't one of those occasions. Also, we're all fortunate enough to see Young breaking out into sheer superstardom directly before our eyes this NBA Playoffs.
