MCHS Hosts Spring Sports Banquet
ANDERSON, Mo. — For the first run through in quite a while, spring sports competitors at McDonald County High School had an honors night.
In the wake of missing the 2020 season because of the end of school as a result of Coronavirus, McDonald County High School spring sports groups got back on the field for the 2021 season. 안전놀이터
Grants for the baseball, young men's and young ladies' track, young ladies' soccer and young men's golf crew were introduced at a dinner hung on June 22 at MCHS.
BASEBALL
The feature of the ball club's season was winning the West Division of the Big 8 Conference with a 5-1 record. McDonald County completed the season with a general record of 15-14.
First-group all-state catcher Cole Martin was named the group's MVP, while Weston Gordon was named the Pitcher of the Year.
Different honors incorporate Wade Rickman, Baserunner of the Year; Jack Parnell, Defensive Player of the Year; Ethan Lett, Mustang Leadership Award; Fisher Sanny, JV MVP; and Ethan Francisco, Lett and Rickman, four-year responsibility.
Young ladies' SOCCER
The young ladies' soccer group was youthful and unpracticed, overwhelmed by green bean and sophomores.
The group figured out how to dominate one game during the season, a 3-0 success over Pittsburg, Kan.
Kadence Elliott was named Player of the Year. Anna Clarkson was named Offensive Player of the Year and Samara Smith was named Defensive Player of the Year. Yarecci Quintero procured the Varsity Character Award, while Erika Medina took the Junior Varsity Character Award.
TRACK
The feature of the track group's season was Mariana Salas fitting the bill for state in the spear. Salas procured the young ladies' group MVP for tosses.
Kaycee Factor was the general group MVP, while Sosha Howard won the MVP for bounces. Anna Belle Price and Gissele Reyes were named the "Climb" Athlete of the Year.
For the young men, Andrew Moritz was the tosses MVP, Josh Pacheco was the MVP for bounces, and Hunter Leach was the Runner of the Year. Different Awards were Garrett Gricks, "Climb" Athlete of the Year; Junior Eliam, Newcomer of the Year; and Kaidan Campbell and J.J. Cisneros, four-year responsibility.
Young men' GOLF
Parker Toney just missed fitting the bill for state and was named the group's MVP.
Cory Creason was named the Most Improved.
