Waterloo Holds Their 55th Varsity Club Sports Banquet 

WATERLOO — On June 17, the Waterloo Indians held their 55th Varsity Club Sports Banquet. 

The occasion was held at Club 86 in Geneva, though without any guardians in participation. 안전놀이터

There were 20 exceptional honors gave out during the feast notwithstanding the particular honors in each game. 

The exceptional honors started off with the Jim White Freshman Basketball grant. Jim White was a 1976 Waterloo understudy competitor whose life was taken too soon after a fight with leukemia. White played ball and would have been a three-sport graduate. 

Devin Mulvey-Salerno was the current year's beneficiary for the Jim White Freshman Basketball Award. 

The most current honor on the night was the Bill Owen Waterloo Baseball Leadership Award. Given by the Owen family, Brian Oddi Jr. Gotten the honor. 

Oddi Jr. Was granted three exceptional honors on the evening. 

Oddi Jr. What's more, colleague Allie Smith were named the 2021 Athletes of the Year. 

Oddi Jr. Finished off his night by getting The Kory Rauscher Memorial Scholarship. 

Olivia Godley won The Kory Rauscher Memorial Scholarship also. The honor goes to a two-sport senior understudy competitor that was an honor understudy, had a funny bone, is amicable, will go to a 2-or 4-year school with an inclination in b-ball, football or baseball in memory of a Waterloo graduated class who affected the Waterloo athletic program. 

Godley, Jacob DiGiovanni, Nehemiah Williams and McKenzie Barber were the other four understudy competitors to get various extraordinary honors on the evening. 

Godley, DiGiovanni, Joseph DeWall and Devin Felber were named to The Bill Luce Memorial Golf Committee, some time ago know as the Waterloo Rec Boosters. Varsity mentors designated the four understudy competitors for their great sportsmanship, character on and off the field/court. 

Williams, DiGiovanni and Gabriella DiSanto were the U.S. Armed force National Guard Scholar Athlete. 

Williams, DiSanto and DiGiovanni all were granted for having the most elevated GPA in the senior class. Sgt. first Class Brennan will go to their home this mid year to convey the honor from central command. 

Williams and Bryanna Page were additionally named to The Mark J. Boudreau Memorial Scholarship. 

This honor is in memory of Mark Boudreau, who died from bosom malignancy in 2001. Boudreau moved on from Waterloo in 1974, he was a three-sport competitor and cherished everything about the Waterloo people group. 

Every year the beneficiaries of the honor are picked dependent on initiative characteristics and sports manners, three-sport competitors for four continuous years, scholastic honor, or high honor status, and wanting to go to advanced education. 

The fourteenth yearly Stephen B. Johnson Scholarship was introduced by mentor Dan McGuane. 

Stephen B. Johnson was an instructor, mentor, and a functioning individual from the local area. This grant is given in his memory to a succeeded understudy scholastically and made important commitments to both athletic groups and the local area. 

McKenzie Barber was the beneficiary of the Stephen B. Johnson Scholarship. 

Stylist and Bryanna Page brought home the Harry T. Schwarze Memorial Scholarship. 

Mentor Harry Schwarze showed actual training at Waterloo for over 30 years. His Section V instructing vocation traversed more than forty years and was drafted into the Waterloo Hall of Fame in 2006. 

Madison DeFrancesco won the Varsity Club Service Award while sectional hero Dylan Amidon won the 2021 William Glinski Athletic Director Award for the last honors on the evening.
