Khel Ratna: BCCI To Recommend Ashwin, Mithali; Chhetri Nominated

AFI proposes Neeraj Chopra

Chopra's designation came after runner Dutee Chand was suggested for a similar top honor by the Odisha government. This is the fourth time Chopra is being suggested for the Khel Ratna since 2018. 

Kamal suggested 

India's best table tennis player Sharath Kamal has been suggested for Khel Ratna grant by the game's administering body TTFI. Kamal, who is set to contend in his fourth Olympics, had become the principal Indian paddler to get the Padma Shri in 2019. 

Magic India skipper Sunil Chhetri has been suggested for the Khel Ratna grant by the All India Football Federation. Public ladies' football crew striker Bala Devi, who is presently playing for Rangers in the Scottish Women's Premier League, has been suggested for the desired Arjuna Award.
