"It's an intriguing time," said Taylor Machacek, head young ladies soccer mentor at Jefferson High School. The mentors have some knowledge of players.
"We've had open fields," Machacek said. "We began in June, and we've had a great turnout, so I've become more acquainted with the players through that, and it's been truly amusing to become acquainted with them and see their characters and how they play at open field."
Hirsch was already a JV mentor at Roosevelt High School.
"I'm genuinely natural… I have a modest bunch that are coming from Roosevelt, however there's the new green bean that are coming in, I'm eager to see those," Hirsch said.
Alexis Gross, Emma Behm, Andrew Hirsch and Garret Boll are generally liable to be associated with the dispatch of Jefferson's soccer programs. Gross and Behm are each going to be youngsters.
"I'm eager to play, and our first game is against Roosevelt, so old school, so I'm prepared to get on the field and show everybody what we can do," Behm said.
"I believe it's invigorating to get a chance to play with new young ladies, and we'll be a more youthful group, so ideally we'll do well against a portion of the more seasoned, more settled projects," Gross said.
Andrew Hirsch will be a lesser, as well.
"It's a little nerve-wracking, without a doubt, yet I believe everybody's more than eager to get moving and stuff like that, so I believe it will be fun," Andrew Hirsch said.
Garret Boll will be a senior at Jefferson.
"I believe it's truly invigorating to meet everyone and start another group from last year, 'cause I know a portion of our different companions are at Roosevelt, so it will be fun playing them again and have a little, similar to contention rivalry," Boll said.
The groups don't have narratives yet. That is the place where these Cavaliers come in.
"It's an intriguing time and an incredible chance to truly set the establishment for this Jefferson soccer group," Machacek said.
"Unfortunately we will develop the program from ground," Steve Hirsch said.
Each group has their first match on August 13.
