Ernie Manna was the star offensively, churning out four hits in as many ABs. His three-run double was the biggest knock of the day.

The Springfield Colonials aimed to slow down the streaking Glen Mills Rays, who had lost only once in the long Delco MSBL season, prior to Sunday.
Springfield rode the arm of Dave Shell to ensure the Rays wouldn't go home with another win.
Shell threw a complete game to lead Springfield to a 4-2 victory.
Several Springfield players contributed to the offense. Domenic Nardini, Greg Thompson and Mike Yeager all came through with key RBI hits in the winning effort.
In another MSBL game:
Top Lumber Expos 12, Aston Marauders 2 >> Kyle Gaffney went the distance on the mound, allowing just three hits while striking out five. Gaffney also shone at the plate with three hits and two ribbies for the Expos.
David Dragone was no slouch at the dish, either, producing two hits and a pair of RBIs. Gabe Encarnacion and Joseph Suppa each doubled and drove home two runs.
