AC Milan CEO Ivan Gazidis has been determined to have throat disease, however the Serie A club said on Tuesday that the 56-year-old is relied upon to make a full recuperation. 

Milan said Gazidis will stay in the job and would get treatment in specific centers. 

"I have top notch clinical aptitude… and I am sure founded on all guidance that the malignant growth will be dealt with effectively, with a full recuperation," Gazidis said in an explanation. 

"We have a solid group, both on and off the pitch and I have full confidence in their capacity to drive our club forward throughout the next few weeks." 

Gazidis took over at the San Siro club in December 2018 having recently been CEO at Arsenal. 

Having served for almost 10 years at the Premier League club, he regulated administrator Arsene Wenger's takeoff in 2018 and recruited his substitution Unai Emery a month after the fact.
