Nyc subway shooting: A Modern-Day Robin Hood?!

I was sitting on the train, scrolling through my phone, when I felt a sharp pain in my shoulder. I looked up, confused, and saw a man standing over me, holding a gun. He was wearing a mask, and his eyes were filled with rage.

“Give me your wallet,” he said. “And your phone.”

I was frozen in shock. I didn’t know what to do. I slowly handed him my wallet and my phone.

“Thank you,” he said. “Have a nice day.”

And then he was gone.

I sat there for a moment, trying to process what had just happened. I had just been robbed at gunpoint. I couldn’t believe it.

I got up and went to the conductor’s booth. I told him what had happened, and he called the police. The police came and took my statement. They said they would do their best to catch the robber.

I went home and tried to forget about what had happened. But I couldn’t. I kept thinking about the robber. I wondered who he was and why he had robbed me.

A few days later, I was walking down the street when I saw a homeless man. He was sitting on the sidewalk, begging for money. I stopped and gave him some change.

As I was walking away, I heard him say, “Thank you.”

I turned around and looked at him. He was smiling.

“You’re welcome,” I said.

And then I realized something.

The homeless man was the robber.

I know this because he had the same eyes as the robber. The same rage-filled eyes.

I don’t know why he robbed me. Maybe he needed the money for food. Maybe he needed it for drugs. I don’t know.

But I do know this: he’s not a bad person.

He’s just a man who’s down on his luck. And he’s just trying to survive.

So if you ever see a homeless man begging for money, don’t be afraid to give him some change.

You never know, he might just be a modern-day Robin Hood.
