Have you ever had a dream that felt so real, you couldn't tell the difference from reality? That's what happened to Ona Slavin, a young girl who loved to read and imagine. One night, she had a dream that would change her life forever.
In her dream, Ona Slavin was in a beautiful meadow, filled with bright flowers and singing birds. She was sitting under a tree, reading a book, when she heard a voice.
"Hello, Ona Slavin," the voice said. "I am the Queen of the Fairies."
Ona Slavin looked up and saw a beautiful woman dressed in a flowing white gown. She had long, flowing hair and sparkling blue eyes. She looked like a princess out of a storybook.
"I have been watching you, Ona Slavin," the Queen of the Fairies said. "You are a kind and gentle girl, with a heart of gold."
"Thank you," Ona Slavin said. "That is very kind of you to say."
"I have a gift for you," the Queen of the Fairies said. "This gift will allow you to make one wish come true."
Ona Slavin was so excited. She didn't know what to wish for. She could wish for anything in the world.
"I wish to be a fairy princess," she said finally.
The Queen of the Fairies smiled. "Your wish is my command," she said.
And with that, she waved her wand and Ona Slavin was transformed. She was now wearing a beautiful white gown, with long, flowing hair and sparkling blue eyes. She looked like a princess out of a storybook.
"Thank you," Ona Slavin said. "This is the best gift I have ever received."
The Queen of the Fairies smiled. "Now go and make your dreams come true," she said.
And with that, she disappeared.
Ona Slavin spent the rest of the day exploring the meadow, making friends with the fairies and singing along with the birds. She had never been so happy in her life.
When it was time to go, she was sad to leave. But she knew that she would never forget her time in the meadow. She would always cherish the gift that the Queen of the Fairies had given her.
Ona Slavin woke up the next morning feeling refreshed and happy. She knew that she had had a dream, but she couldn't remember what it was about. She got out of bed and started to get ready for school.
As she was brushing her hair, she noticed that it was long and flowing. She had never had long hair before. She looked in the mirror and saw that she was wearing a beautiful white gown. She looked like a princess out of a storybook.
At first, she thought she was still dreaming. But then she realized that she wasn't. She was awake and she was really a fairy princess.
Ona Slavin was so excited. She couldn't wait to go to school and show everyone her new dress. She ran out of the house and into the street.
When she got to school, everyone was staring at her.
"What's wrong?" she asked.
"You're a fairy princess!" one of her friends said.
Ona smiled. "Yes," she said. "I am." And she lived happily ever after.
