Oregon State Football: A Team on the Rise

Not long ago, Oregon State football was a laughingstock. The Beavers had not had a winning season since 2013, and they were coming off a 2-10 campaign in 2021.
But things are changing in Corvallis. Jonathan Smith, who took over as head coach in 2018, has slowly but surely turned the program around.
In 2022, the Beavers went 9-3, their best record since 2012. And they did it with a young team that is only going to get better.
Oregon State's success is due in large part to Smith's leadership. Smith is a former Oregon State quarterback who knows what it takes to win in Corvallis.
He has instilled a winning culture in his players, and he has them believing that they can compete with anyone.
The Beavers' offense is led by quarterback Ben Gulbranson, who is one of the most exciting young players in the Pac-12. Gulbranson is a dual-threat quarterback who can both throw and run the ball.
He is surrounded by a talented group of receivers, including Tre'Shaun Harrison and Anthony Gould.
The Beavers' defense is also solid. They are led by linebacker Omar Speights, who is one of the best defenders in the Pac-12. Speights is a tackling machine, and he is always around the ball.
The Beavers have a lot of potential. They have a young team that is only going to get better. And they have a coach who knows what it takes to win.
Oregon State is a team on the rise. Don't be surprised if they make some noise in the Pac-12 this season.
