OTET Result 2024

OTET Result 2024 will be released on 23rd November 2024. Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha for the recruitment of teachers in government schools.

The exam is conducted twice a year and the notification for the same is released on the official website of BSE, Odisha. OTET 2024 notification is expected to be released in the month of August 2024.

Exam Pattern

The OTET exam is conducted in two papers. Paper I is for candidates who wish to teach classes I to V and Paper II is for candidates who wish to teach classes VI to VIII. Both the papers are objective type and consist of multiple choice questions.

The syllabus for OTET exam is based on the NCERT syllabus for classes I to VIII.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed their 12th class from a recognized board.
Candidates must have a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree from a recognized university.
Candidates must be a citizen of India.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates for OTET is based on their performance in the written exam. Candidates who qualify the written exam are then called for an interview.

How to Apply

Candidates can apply for OTET exam online through the official website of BSE, Odisha. The application fee for OTET exam is Rs. 500 for general category candidates and Rs. 250 for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

The admit card for OTET exam is released on the official website of BSE, Odisha. Candidates can download their admit card by entering their registration number and password.

Result

The result of OTET exam is released on the official website of BSE, Odisha. Candidates can check their result by entering their registration number and password.

Certificate

Candidates who qualify the OTET exam are issued a certificate by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha.

Validity of Certificate

The OTET certificate is valid for a period of 7 years from the date of issue.
