Our Favorite and Easiest Filet Mignon Recipe

Ingredients:
- 1 (1-pound) filet mignon steak
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Pat the steak dry with paper towels.
- Rub the steak with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the steak for 2 minutes per side, or until browned.
- Transfer the steak to a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the steak reaches the desired doneness.
- Remove the steak from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Tips:
- For a more flavorful steak, marinate it in your favorite marinade for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
