Peter Stefanovic
Peter Stefanovic (born 29 October 1971) is an Australian television journalist and news presenter. Stefanovic is the brother of television personality Karl Stefanovic and political journalist Alex Stefanovic.
Stefanovic was born in Sydney, Australia, and graduated from the University of Technology, Sydney with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism. He began his career in journalism as a reporter for
The Australian newspaper, before moving to television news in 1997.
Stefanovic has worked as a reporter and news presenter for a number of Australian television networks, including the Nine Network, the Seven Network, and Network Ten. He is currently a news presenter for the Nine Network's
Today show.
Stefanovic has won a number of awards for his journalism, including a Logie Award for Most Popular News Presenter in 2016. He is a member of the Australian Press Council.
Stefanovic is married to Sylvia Jeffreys, a fellow journalist. The couple have one child, a daughter named Willow.
Personal life
Stefanovic is a passionate advocate for mental health awareness. He has spoken publicly about his own struggles with anxiety and depression. In 2016, he launched the Peter Stefanovic Foundation, which aims to provide support for people with mental health issues.
Stefanovic is also a keen sportsman. He is a member of the Sydney Roosters rugby league club and the Sydney FC soccer club.

I'm also passionate about mental health awareness. I've seen firsthand the devastating impact that mental ill-health can have on individuals and families. That's why I'm committed to supporting the Peter Stefanovic Foundation, which provides support for people with mental health issues.
I'm also a keen sportsman. I love the camaraderie and the competition. Sport has taught me the importance of teamwork and perseverance.
